SOLD--Art Deco Diamond .60ct Filigree Engagement Ring 14k, Poland c. 1930

It is always so fascinating to see Deco pieces from other countries!  While quite worn, this ring has Polish hallmarks on the outside of the shank.  Though the term Art Deco primarily conjures images of the New York City jazz age, many other countries produced exquisite Deco works during this period.  And as it turns out, the Polish pavilion was a huge hit at the Paris Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs of 1925!  You can see all of the pavilions here:

This ring hails from that amazing time -- can you imagine what it must have been like to visit that Exposition?  Add it to your list of places you'll visit when they finally invent time travel!

In the center of this ring we have a bezel set Old European Cut diamond weighing approximately .60ct with G-H Color and SI2 Clarity, surrounded by striped filigree set with four additional diamonds weighing approximately .15ctw.  As you can see in the photos, it has a GREAT look on the hand.  This ring is interesting, sparkly and in wonderful condition so it is ready to be an engagement ring once more!

Currently a size 5.75 and can be resized as needed.  One resizing provided, please allow one week.  If you choose to have this ring sized by another jeweler you must stress to them that they have to keep the hallmarks!

Old Euro Diamond weighs approx. .60ct with GHSI2 Color and Clarity.  Side diamonds weigh approximately .15ct with H-J Color and VS2-SI2 Clarity.  

Face of ring measures 12mm north to south.  Band tapers from 2.5mm to 2mm.
