We took lots of photos of this ring in different lighting because it is so pretty--and I'm going to include them all here!  This is a simple, perfect antique engagement ring centering a .65ct Old European cut diamond with L-M Color and SI2 Clarity set in a platinum bezel and 18k rosy-yellow gold gallery and band.  This ring has many praises to be sung!  First, the stone is incredibly sparkly and full of life, shooting rainbow colors whenever you move you hand!  While L-M Color is in the warmer range and it photographed warm, this diamond faces up beautifully and doesn't have the look of a warmer stone in person.  The next great characteristic of this lovely ring is the wonderfully designed gallery with clean, almost medieval-style openwork.  And finally, one of the very best parts of this ring is it's wearability--this is a bezel set stone that sits low, so it is a perfect vintage ring for a woman who is more active with her hands (though it still should be treated like the heirloom that it is) and likes a clean look.  Whoever gets this beauty with be very, very pleased!  Come see it in person if you can!

Currently a size 6 and can be resized as needed.  Stamped "750" and acid-tested for metal content.  Worn or unknown maker's marks.  Stone tight in setting.  Diamond received SI2 Clarity grade due to feather under the table visible under 10x magnification, but the stone is eye-clean.   Face of ring measures 6.5mm diameter, band tapers from 1.7 to 1.5mm.
