Description

A true heirloom!  Brought in from a local estate, this Victorian ring features a natural, fine color ruby set in 18k rose gold circa 1880.  Sits perfectly with a wedding band, this beautiful ring would make a lovely, understated engagement ring for a ruby lover!

Currently size 6.25 and can be resized as needed.  We provide one free resizing with purchase, please allow one week.  Not stamped or signed but tested for metal content.  Engraved "H.F.M" and "E.W.".  Ruby weighs approximately .25ct and is assumed to be heat-treated.  This ring has seen some love and has wear to the detail on the shoulders, the stone and the prongs.  The stone has abrasions at the facet junctions.  Two prongs may need to retipped at some point, but at this time the stone is secure and I like to keep things as original as possible unless work is absolutely necessary for security's sake.  All of this has been factored into the price.

All purchases from Bavier Brook arrive in an elegant box, fully wrapped in fine paper with a gift card stating description and time period. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions, we are happy to answer them.
