SOLD--Victorian Old Mine Diamond Engagement Ring Silver/14k c. 1890
THIS PIECE HAS BEEN SOLD.
This beautiful ring is for the woman who wants an antique engagement ring that evokes another time whenever she looks down at her hand! Featuring a bezel set Old Mine Cut diamond weighing approximately .55ct with M-N Color and SI1 Clarity, surround by six Rose Cut diamonds weighing approximately .10ctw, this ring is silver-topped (how they set diamonds in the Victorian era) 14k rosy-yellow gold with gorgeously detailed shoulders. It is so lovely on the hand and looks like nothing that is made today. Though I love my engagement ring, when I see a ring like this I wish there was some excuse I could make to get ANOTHER engagement ring! It is just so special and very romantic, I can't imagine what it would be like for an antique jewelry lover to open a box containing this ring during a proposal. What a lucky lady she will be!
Face of ring measures 12.5 x 6.5mm. Not stamped or signed but acid-tested for metal content. Currently a size 8.5 and can be resized as needed.
