Late Georgian Diamond Giardinetti Ring Silver/14k c. 1830
This is a special ring! This late Georgian/early Victorian ring circa 1830-40 depicts an urn with a sweet little flower, studded with rose cut diamonds in silver-topped 14k gold. This ring would be considered a giardinetti, meaning "little gardens", a style of ring that was popular in the late 1700 to early 1800's and is highly sought after now. Though our photos are closeups and the ring may look big, it actually has a delicate look in person and sits flat to the finger.
Currently a size 6.25 and can be resized very carefully. One resizing provided, please allow one week.
Not stamped or signed but tested for metal content.
Face of ring measures 18mm at the widest.
Note: Due to it's age, this ring must be worn carefully and it is not meant for everyday wear.
