Late Art Deco Fabulous Diamond and Gemstone Christmas Tree Brooch Platinum, c. 1940
As far as holiday brooches go, I don't think it gets any better than this guys! This is the ULTIMATE Christmas tree brooch! From a local estate, this brooch was made in the late Deco period circa 1940's and is completely encrusted from star to base in diamonds, rubies, sapphires, demantoid garnets and a big, gorgeous carved emerald. All set in platinum, extremely finely made and in truly excellent condition. This is what would be considered an "important" piece due to the materials, fineness of construction and rarity. It is impossible to overstate how sparkly this brooch is, it is a holiday delight to wear and to see!

Contains one hundred and eight Old European, Transitional Round Brilliant and Single Cut natural diamonds weighing approximately 3.43ctw with F-G Color and VS2-SI2 Clarity. Also contains eight Baguette cut natural diamonds weighing approximately .50ctw with G-H Color and VS2 Clarity.
Contains one natural carved emerald cabochon weighing approximately 9.11ct.
Contains five round cut natural demantoid garnets. six round cut natural rubies and four round cut natural sapphires. All stones measure approximately 2mm diameter and are bezel set.
