Art Deco Green Chalcedony and Marcasite Ring Sterling c. 1930
This great Art Deco era ring has everything you could want from a Deco piece--geometric lines, bold presence and iconic color. Made circa 1930, this ring holds a green chalcedony surrounded by an angular frame studded with marcasites in sterling silver. One of the nice things about this ring is that it packs in a lot of Deco design, but it doesn't wear huge on the hand---it is the perfect size! European in origin.
Currently size 5.25 and can be resized as needed. One resizing provided, please allow one week.
Stamped "935" (a silver standard over sterling seen in Europe) and tested for metal content.
Measures 15/16" north to south and 1/2" east to west.
In very good vintage condition! All marcasites present, chalcedony in good condition and nice patina.
