Art Deco Four Prong Diamond Platinum Setting for 1.50-2.25ct Diamond c. 1940
This is the second of two great Art Deco era settings crafted in platinum. These are genuine vintage settings, not reproductions. The four prong basked of this setting can hold a 7.5-8.5mm diameter stone, or an approximately 1.50-2.25ct diamond. The prongs are in great condition and a skilled setter should not need to retip. Flanked by three round brilliant cut diamonds weighing approximately .20ctw with G-H Color and VS1-SI1 Clarity and original knife edge band. Worn platinum stamp and illegible maker's mark. This ring is currently a size 9 and can be resized as needed.
