Description

A sparkly stunner from the Victorian era!  This ring was made circa 1870 and features seven Old Mine Cut diamonds set in an openwork mounting in 18k yellow gold.  As you can see in the pic, these are super old cuts with huge culets and very deep crowns--which makes for an amazing sparkle!

Currently size 6.75.  One resizing is included with purchase, please allow one week.

Stamped "18" and tested for metal content.

Old Mine Cut diamonds weigh approximately 1.05ctw, with L-M Color and VS2-SI2 Clarity.

Face of ring measures 11.5mm north to south, band tapers from 3.5 to 2.5mm.

Note:  This ring has not been reshanked--the color difference in the photos between the gallery and the band is due to a loss of patina from heat being applied during a small repair.  There has, however, been a previous resizing to the ring and this area will be removed when resizing is done for the buyer.
