Description

Ok, I have to catch my breath as I write this description because I am so in love with this ring.  This is it folks, a true mid-Victorian super high-end for the period cluster ring set with three incredibly vibrant natural emeralds set in 18k in a frame of old cut diamonds set in silver.  This ring is most likely British in origin.  These emeralds are green green GREEN, the perfect emerald color and they will not disappoint even the most discerning emerald lover!  Rings from this period and of this level are exceedingly hard to find these days, especially in this condition.  I suspect the woman who wore it did so infrequently and did not do much with her hands!  That being said, this would make the most special engagement ring but be forewarned that you can't wear this ring all day every day.  Between the emeralds and the age, you have to take care and keep an eye on what you're doing when you're wearing it.  But if you get that pit-of-your-stomach feeling when you look at it like "this is MY ring" (I've been there!) and you're willing to be careful, then go for it because you will be THRILLED and I will be thrilled for you!  It is beyond spectacular!

Currently size 10.25 and can be resized as needed.  One resizing provided, please allow one week.

Stamped "18" and tested for metal content.

Face of ring measures 3/8" north to south at the widest and a little over 3/4" east to west.

Contains three natural emerald cut emeralds weighing approximately 1.05ctw with no evidence of clarity treatment though this can only be confirmed by a lab.  Also contains twenty-eight old cut diamonds weighing approximately  1.12ctw.  Diamonds grade G-I Color and VS Clarity.

In excellent antique condition.  There is one small area of wear or repair to the silver near the corner--it's not serious at all, it's just worn.  Emeralds are in extremely good condition, especially for their age.

All purchases from Bavier Brook arrive in an elegant box, fully wrapped in fine paper. Please inquire for international shipping. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions, we are happy to answer them!
