Victorian Opal and Diamond Ring 14k c. 1900
This pretty and somewhat dainty late Victorian opal and diamond ring is much brighter in person than these photos suggest! I tried guys, so many different light sources and backgrounds, but I just couldn't capture it. Set in 14k very rosy gold, three natural opals that are primarily blue-green but have very nice red play-of-color sit in frames set with Old Mine cut diamonds. This ring is low and very band-like. And these diamonds are much brighter and the opals have more depth! Come and see it in person and you'll see what I mean.
Currently a size 7.25. Worn "14" metal stamp and tested for metal content. Diamonds weigh approximately .52ctw and are H-J Color, VS2-SI2 Clarity. Opals are slightly worn on surface. Measures 9mm at the widest.
