SOLD--Victorian Bohemian Garnet Bangle Gilt Brass c. 1880

A gorgeous bohemian garnet cluster bangle from the late 1880's, this piece is made in gold over brass and it set with vibrantly red garnets in a variety of cuts.  No matter how many times I see bohemian garnet jewelry, I am always overwhelmed by how beautiful it is--there is just nothing else quite like it with its gem upon gem design and color!

Made to be worn over a sleeve, this bracelet will fit a medium to larger wrist with inside dimensions measures 2.5" x 2".  Minor repairwork to central cluster with one squished bezel on a smaller stone and one off-round bezel on a larger stone.  Otherwise in great original condition.  Not stamped or signed but acid-tested for metal content.
