Vintage Navajo Inlay Necklace Sterling c. 1980
This colorful inlay necklace by Navajo artist Lowell Draper is perfect for summer, but so beautiful you're going to want to wear it year round! Spiny oyster, lapis, opal, onyx, turquoise, mother of pearl and sugilite are expertly cut and set to create the gorgeous geometry so unique to inlay pieces. Many inlay pieces are quite chunky, but this necklace is delicate and light. If you're a fan of inlay this is one for the collection, if you're new to inlay it is a great starter piece and one of the prettier necklaces I've seen!
Measures 16" length. Measures 9mm at the widest.
Stamped "Sterling" and signed "LD" for Lowell Draper.
