Victorian Old Mine Diamond and Star Sapphire Cluster Ring 14k c. 1880
This INCREDIBLE ring might be my favorite in the store right now--look at that color! It is just absolutely gorgeous in person and wait until you get it out into the sunlight and see those stars! Unfortunately we had zero sun today but I'll be sure to get a photo when we do. Made circa 1880, this ring holds nine Old Mine Cut diamonds un the center and eight old cut diamonds in the frame. And let's not forget those star sapphires! There are nine luscious natural star sapphire cabochons, each with a very sharp six-rayed star. The color of these stones is just the perfect periwinkle and with the 14k gold and diamonds it makes for a spectacular color combination. This ring is also quite large, so if you're looking for a statement ring, here it is! I'm just in love with it and I know the right person will be too!
Currently a size 8 and can be resized as needed. One resizing provided, please allow one week.
Stamped "14k" and tested.
Face of ring measures 15/16" diameter.
Contains 9 Old Mine Cut diamonds and eight old cut diamonds weighing approximately .90ctw with H-I Color and SI Clarity. Also contains 9 natural star sapphire cabochons weighing a very approximate 11ctw. That's a lot of sapphire for one cluster!
