THIS PIECE HAS BEEN SOLD.

This is hands down one of the most charming rings we have ever had in this store, EVER.  This unbelievably romantic early Victorian ring circa 1840 holds a central Old Mine Cut diamond--and this is an OLD Old Mine Cut where the diamond isn't even trying to be symmetrical--weighing approximately .36ct, surrounded by a blue enameled buttercup frame and engraved band in 14k yellow gold.  I actually haven't seen this blue enamel in a buttercup done before and let me tell you it is so, SO pretty.  The diamond is warmer in color but you won't care because it is incredibly sparkly in the way that only an Old Mine cut can be.  This beautiful, special ring would make an outstanding engagement ring, but if you love it don't hesitate to buy it for non-engagement reasons--you will be so thrilled with this sweet antique beauty!

Currently a size 7 and can be resized as needed.  One resizing provided, please allow one week.

Face of ring measures 7.2mm diameter.  Band measures 3mm all the way around.

Natural Old Mine Cut diamond weighs approximately .36ct and is graded L-M Color and SI2 Clarity due to transparent crystal inclusions and a chip to the table facet junction.

In overall very good condition, stone is tight in setting and appears original.  Enamel is nearly entirely intact which is amazing.  To keep this great old enamel in good condition, please be aware of your hand when you're wearing this ring--no high-impact activities please!

All purchases from Bavier Brook arrive in an elegant box, fully wrapped in fine paper. Please inquire for international shipping. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions, we are happy to answer them!
