Victorian Diamond and Amethyst Flower Ring 12k c. 1880
This sweetly romantic Victorian ring has seen its share of love over the years! Made circa 1880, it features a faceted light color natural amethyst with a carved flower in the center. The flower is inlaid with gold and set with a rose cut diamond! So pretty. Each prong holding the amethyst also contains a tiny old cut diamond, and it's all set on a wide 12k rose gold band. This style of ring is somewhat rare and so perfectly Victorian!
Currently a size 7.5 and can be resized as needed. On resizing provided, please allow one week.
Face of ring measures 5/8" north to south. Band tapers from 6.2 to 4.5mm.
Not stamped or signed but tested for metal content.
Condition note: This ring is 140 years old and has been worn. The amethyst has abraded facet junctions and there is nothing that we can do about that. It has been resized at some point. This has been factored into the price. She is still absolutely lovely!
