THIS PIECE HAS BEEN SOLD.

This is quite a grand ring, made during the late Art Deco period circa 1930's to 40's and featuring a large cluster of bohemian garnets set in a gilt metal with a 14k shank.  These stones are called bohemian garnets because they were mined and set in the Germany/Austria/Czech region and we see them primarily in the late 1800's up to about the 1940's.  The original bohemian garnets, seen in Victorian pieces, were completely mined out by the time this ring was made though these garnets do come from the same region.  That being said, this ring is gorgeous!  It's dark sparkle and spatial size put it smack in the statement ring category.  And bonus, the stones are much more red in person than they show in the photos!

Currently size 9 and can be resized as needed.  One resizing provided, please allow one week.

Face of ring measures  1 3/8" length by a little under 7/8" width.  Stands 3/8" from the finger when worn.

Stamped "14K SHANKS" and tested.

In excellent vintage condition!
