Description

This special pair of stud earrings are so unusual and came to me from a local estate.  Set in 14k yellow gold, two .20ct Old Mine Cut diamonds are framed with alternating old cut diamonds and black enamel balls.  They are very harlequin-esque on the ear and incredibly striking!  The central diamonds, while mismatched in color, do appear original to the pair although it is always possible that one was replaced.  But in the Victorian era they often used what was available whether it matched or not!  This is not nearly as noticeable on the ear as it is in the photos here and the surrounding diamonds are a mix of colors as well.  To try these on is to love them so if you're nearby and you have a hankering to see them, then come on into the store and you'll see what I mean!

Measure 7/16" or 10mm diameter.

Posts are stamped "14K' and are later additions.

Central Old Mine cut diamonds weigh approximately .20ct each (.40ctw) with one graded H-I Color and the other L-M Color.  Both are SI1 Clarity.  Side diamonds weigh approximately .75ctw with G-L Color and SI1-I1 Clarity.

Overall good condition.  Black enamel in good condition.  Prongs all in good condition.  Posts secure.
