Post-Modern Memphis Eve Kaplin Enamel Earrings c. 1990
Another amazing pair of mechanical enamel earrings from Eve Kaplin Designs circa early 1990's. As I explained in my previous listing, this is an important jewelry artist and studio that operated in NYC from the early 1980's to mid-1990's. They are perhaps the most important studio of the Memphis design era and there is no mistaking the vibrant palette, scale and mechanics of an Eve Kaplin piece. I love how the design is both whimsical and yet incredibly controlled. To put it simply, this is just really spectacular art in jewelry form!!!
Measure 2.5" from tip of ear wire to base closed. When open measure 3.5"! 1.5" at the widest. Not signed as is typical of Eve Kaplin Designs but are guaranteed to be authentic.
