Anyone looking for a great pair of wearable, sparkly antique paste earrings?  Here you go!  These French made Victorian era c. 1880 earrings have two large and two smaller old cut pastes crown set in sterling silver, with leverback backings stamped with the French eagle hallmark for 18k.  The pastes are set open back which is typical for the time period and great for cleaning to keep them sparkling and white.  The best part?  They come in their original box!  For an antique jewelry lover, having a piece in the box is really the finishing touch  This box is made of leather, blue silk and dark blue velvet and hails from "L. Haimet 51 Quai de Paris Rouen".

These dainty earrings measure a little over 1/2" in length and 1/4" at the widest.  The pastes are secure in their settings and are original to the earrings.  There is minor chipping to the edges of both large pastes that can be seen under magnification.  The leverbacks are secure and in great working order.  Box closes tightly with original fittings, wear to leather and velvet as to be expected with a box of this age.
