Art Deco Marcasite and Chalcedony Necklace Sterling, Germany c. 1930
Look at this Deco gorgeousness! Of course it was made in Germany, land of uber precise detail and producer of some of my most favorite ever Deco pieces. This spectacular necklace was made circa 1930 in sterling silver and is studded with darkly sparkling marcasites. In the center there are three pyramid-shaped, translucent chalcedony cabochons that glow and change as you move. Just another stunning example of Art Deco design and workmanship that has made it through the decades for you to wear!
Measures 16" length. Pendant measures 2.75" length.
Stamped "GERMANY STERLING SILVER" on reverse.
Chalcedony is dyed as is typical, cabochons in very good condition with one having a very slight chip to the facet junction visible under 10x magnification.
All marcasites present.
