Art Deco Long Paste Drop Sautoir Sterling Silver c. 1930
This quintessential Art Deco necklace was designed with rectangular and square cut pastes, meant to imitate diamonds and sapphires, set in sterling silver engraved mounts with a nice sized clear shield shape paste as a drop. This piece was purposely made without a clasp so that it could be worn in the front, as pictured, or worn down the back for an ultra glamorous look. Whichever direction you wear it you are going to feel like the most fabulous Deco lady headed out for a night at the speakeasies under the glittering city lights!
Measures 31" length with an additional 2.5" drop.
Not stamped or signed but tested for metal content.
