This beautiful little ring would make such a chic engagement ring!  This is an Art Deco ring circa 1920 centering a .20ct Old European cut diamond, with a frame of rose cut diamonds and calibre cut rubies surrounding all set in 14k white and yellow gold.  The central diamond grades I-J in Color and I1 in Clarity due to a chip to the table.  As you can see in the photos, this inclusion does not detract from the overall beauty of the ring, but it is there and does affect the clarity.  The rubies are synthetic (lab made) as is typical of corundum accent stones of this time period.  This ring sits super flat on the hand and there is no mistaking that this is an antique piece--it is so evocative of the time where the Edwardian style was slowly giving way to the geometry and glamour of Art Deco design.  While it looks very French in origin to me, there are no hallmarks to denote it as such as this ring has been resized at some point.  Tres jolie!

Currently a size 5.5 and can be resized as needed.  Face of the ring measures 1/2" in length.  Not stamped or signed but acid-tested for metal content between 14-18k.
